Two little people woke up this morning to find something new on the couch…
The pillow stars “Thomas and Harold!!!!!!!!” according to Little Miss – high praise indeed.
I added a border to the four blocks to bring it up to size (45cm/18″) using an orange DS print. It’s a little wonky, but the fact that the four blocks line up perfectly in the middle means nothing else matters!
For the back, I used a grey and white dotty print for a quick and easy envelope closure.
The patterns are designed by Kristy from Quiet Play and are available for on Craftsy or be quick and enter to win the 4 patterns plus a Pure charm pack! They are great patterns – quick and easy and perfect for using up scraps – for the sky of the helicopter block, I used less than 1 layer cake piece.
Linking up at the Practically Paper Piecing linky party! If you’ve completed a paper pieced item like this cushion or the Totoro nappy bag, link up to and be in the running for some great prizes!
And that’s another one ticked off my FAL list!
