I’m using them to border my blocks. I already had this red Sketch, and literally had just enough to border this block. I did also cheat slightly and cut a few strips off a couple of fat eighths + just so I could get this one done.
As you can see, they’re not going to be textbook log cabins with the varying width of strips, but nothing over 2″. My grand plan is to off-set the polaroid blocks differently in each colour, and have them in this layout:
Although now that I’m looking at them all laid out like this, I’m tempted to get the orange/yellow Haystack Madrona Road print so that pink one isn’t so out of place… Hmmm…

Alyce! How much of the Madrona road do you need for the borders? I have some of the MR graphite haystacks left over that I’d be happy to send you!

These are too cute! I really love the scrappiness of the blocks and the pure, saturated color. I think you should get the other haystack print to add to your gorgeous stack. The larger scale crosshatch next to the smaller is kind of a fun detail. I’m totally fabric enabling, aren’t I? 😉

I love your scrappy blocks; they are so fun!! I don’ t really have strips of fabric but I have lots of pieces big enough to be cut into strips and would be happy to send some your way!!
