There hasn’t been much sewing this week, so much as snowing and the resulting requisite snow playing! Tokyo and surrounding areas received an almost 50-year record snow fall, with our place receiving over a foot of snow. Apparently it was essentially a “snow typhoon”! Sunday morning was spent outside with all the neighbours shovelling snow while the kids exchanged snow balls with some teenage girl neighbours, Monday brought more snow playing with my son discovering a deep love for kicking snowmen and snow piles as much as he can. Also, I never knew just how many muscles you used for shovelling snow… ouch!
Melissa made this adorable paper pieced cushion using patterns from Kristy’s shop.
Paula has a tutorial for this heart mini – just in time for Valentines Day!
Sarah made a fabulous fabric basket for her friend – a favourite gift for me to make too!
Time to link up this week’s stitchy projects!

Hi! I just want to let you know that I added your Sew Cute Tuesday button to my blog page (it should appear on my home page sometime today). I like the high quality content of your guests. From now on, I will take advantage of your link parties.. Please tell me, do you only take posts about quilts? I’m asking because I also do stitchery/embroidery, crochet/knitting and scrapbooking. Thank you!
