It’s the first Tuesday of the month! The first Tuesday of every month will be a special linky – you are welcome to link up your normal weekly post, but you can also link up one extra post to do with the week’s theme! And as I announced last week, this month’s special theme is purple. Oh yes, just like Pantone’s Radiant Orchid Color of the Year. Or any other shade of purple you have used! Anything you’ve sewn/stitched to do with the theme of purple, you can link up as a bonus!
Purple isn’t something I’ve used a lot of in my sewing. But this year, it was time that changed! For the annual Pantone Quilt Challenge, I entered my Bright Sky quilt. I used the Cuzco feature print in purple for the centre, and the outer star points include Tula Pink, more Kate Spain, and some Lucie Summers. This quilt was for my best friend who loves green and purple, so of course I had to include some aqua blues, and the pop of pink adds some more dimension.
Link up your usual weekly sewing/stitching/yarning post, plus ONE bonus star post! That’s 2 posts each!
