Hello guys! Welcome back to Sew Cute Tuesday, the part of the show where you guys show off your awesomeness and we get to check out the eye candy.
I’ve got basset hounds on my mind this week, with my basset-hound-owning in-laws arriving tomorrow night for 3 weeks, yippee! We love having family visiting us here in Japan, and we’ve been very blessed with how many have been able to make it. Some this year are on their second time around in just 3 years! So when I saw this beauty in the linky by Trina, I just had to share it.
Dorinda has finished this adorable quilt top!
And this scrappy improv Charm Dash quilt by Angie has to be one of my most favourite finishes floating around the interwebs this past week! By making the print pieces so scrappy-improv, the negative space really shines through to create a unique look for this pattern.
Now it’s time to share with us your latest projects – stitching, sewing, finished or progress – and don’t forget you can link directly to an Instagram pic instead if you like, using #sewcutetuesday and @blossomheartquilts to help us all find you over there too… AND! Your bonus flower post from your creative history! Like maybe a Market Tote with awesome floral fabric:
Or maybe a modern tulip quilt block tutorial:
So link up your two posts, and go check out some pretties!

Thank you SO much for sharing my little scrappy piece of wonderful. It’s one of my favourite finishes for this year too! I’m such a chicken when it comes to improv and this was a great way to get my toe wet. Love it so much. Thank you for loving it too! <3
