OOPS! I totally forgot to do a special theme for last week!! Let’s do it this week instead…
As for me and this past week, I’ve been caring for a sick little boy for a couple of days last week, and also been busy prepping for leaving for QuiltCon on Saturday (whaaat?! That’s so soon!), but I have managed to get at least some sewing done, and photographed too. Here’s what it looks like behind the scenes when getting ready to photograph my Farmer’s Wife quilt blocks – selecting matching Hello Kitty charms and Aurifil thread!
Rachel also headed to the Tokyo quilt show, and in fact, we got to have lunch together! My first time having Korean, in fact. She’s sharing the first of two posts sharing her experience at the show. If you missed mine, here’s my post about it too!
Meanwhile, Karin captured my interest very quickly with this mini barn quilt. I mean, wow!
I’m also lovin’ this modern bear paw quilt by Charlotte.
Ok guys, time to link up one of your posts from this week! It could be a finished quilt, or your latest quilting bee blocks, or a cushion, or anything else quilty related. And did you know you can link directly to an Instagram pic too?! So if you want to link from there, you can do that too – link up as normal, and use #sewcutetuesday and @blossomheartquilts on IG to help us find you from there too.
As for the special theme? Let’s do your sewing spaces!! I’ve been dreaming about how I want to set up when we’re settled back in Melbourne, so I’d LOVE to see pics of your spaces! Whether it’s just the dining table or a whole room, show me!

Hi Alyce! The quilt show in Tokyo looks so amazing! How many days you are allowed to ‘live’ there?!
I’m linking again my sewing room and shall post later today about my scraps projects. Have a great week! x Teje

Hi Alyce! Love the photos of Tokyo. Thanks for taking us along! I’m posting an article about organizing scraps that shows just a snippet of my sewing room…in a total mess! I’ve just bought some organizers and am working on redoing the room to the be beauty I think you were hoping to see. Thanks for the linky.
