Happy Tuesday, one and all! I’m finally starting back into things, with just 3 weeks left of work before the kids finish Japanese preschool (forever!), and 5 weeks until we moving countries… So of course I avoid my work and enjoy some meditative straight-line quilting on a “selfish sewing” pillow for me, myself, and I!
I also hit 4000 followers on Instagram before I left for QuiltCon, so it’s time to party now with a fun giveaway – go comment on this photo in my feed to win!
Today is a big day, with it being “Super Tuesday” in the US, and many of us watching on nervously from the outside to see what happens. So let’s focus on happy, quilty things. For today’s bonus post, link up your absolute favourite project you’ve ever made. Oh yes, I am asking you to try and choose your favourite child 😉 And at the moment, Jelly Baby is my favourite child…
Ok guys, time to link up one of your posts from this week! It could be a finished quilt, or your latest quilting bee blocks, or a cushion, or anything else quilty related. And did you know you can link directly to an Instagram pic too?! So if you want to link from there, you can do that too – link up as normal, and use #sewcutetuesday and @blossomheartquilts on IG to help us find you from there too.

I know how excited you must be, getting ready to move back “home.” Good luck during the move. Here’s hoping nothing gets left behind and your sewing machine is the first thing you unpack. ljbisme at msn dot com.

Seems we were on the same wave length…I just made two pillows for myself! I rarely make anything for myself!

I really love how you alternated colors in the half square triangles. I think I’m going to pinch that idea and try that on something myself!
Congratulations on 4,000!

Hi Alyce! Your quilt is really beautiful! Today here are again so many links and fantastic works! Thank you for hosting the party! My absolutely favourite project until now is ‘Fantasy Forest’ paper pieced animals. I wish I can make one day something else as unique (for me) as this quilt. x Teje
