This week, I’ve been busy finishing up the sample for my next pattern, making a mini mini quilt for the Great Aussie Name Tag Swap, and starting a Super Tote for my mother-in-law! I can’t wait to be able to show the full detail of this name tag:
Talking of minis, Mary has been joining in the mini mini fun with this incredible mini mini plus quilt! She shares her entire process, and you have to see how she fixed up a quilting boo-boo, it’s great!
Serena’s beautiful rainbow of hexies caught my eye, such a sweet story behind why it took so long to photograph.
As did this beautiful, graphic design by Rebecca that she adapted from Ombre Vibes.
And now, as it’s the first linky of the month (already, again! This year is flying!), it’s time to link up your normal latest project and a bonus favourite from the past! This month, we’re going to go spotty. Whether it’s using your favourite polka dot fabric, or appliqued circles, you choose! For me, I will always always love Bonnie & Camille’s dots, like this one used as a background fabric from Vintage Modern.
I also love the spots I used to sash my sampler quilt from The Bee Hive blocks – I promise, it’s actually a light spot! But it reads as solid, yay. This quilt is actually back from the fabulous quilter, Gemma at Pretty Bobbins, now and I need to get a move and bind it to show it off properly!
Don’t forget you can link directly to an Instagram pic too! So if you want to link from there, you can do that too – link up as normal, and use #sewcutetuesday and @blossomheartquilts on IG to help us find you from there too.

Loving the tiny hsts in the name tag. Had to go back quite some way to find a ‘spotty’ project – I think I need to make another one, it’s been way too long! Have a great week Alyce 😀

I don’t have any fancy code for it, sorry, it was slowing the web page down too much. Feel free to save the image across to your blog though!

Mini mini quilts are lots of fun, but they are really addictive! A pretty jewel tone palette is one of my favorite color combinations!
