July wasn’t as productive as hoped – a little dash of low sewjo, a sore bum (don’t ask) meaning I couldn’t sit to sew, plus study starting up. But nonetheless, I have made steady progress towards my quarterly goals.
I finished a UFO – Candy Apples – and whipped up Hibaba within a week. I’ve finished the quilt top for the transport I-spy quilt and will be sandwiching and quilting within the next week or so. I’ve completed July’s BOMs, just need to finish the binding on a baby quilt, finished the Japanese stitchery and bought fabrics for a very important baby quilt. Plus getting ready for my Practically Paper Piecing blog hop day next week!
Just Three for August… ok, so it’s four:
- Finish transport quilt
- Begin baby quilt
- Restart work on Good Fortune quilt – piece backing, sandwich, quilt, bind…
- Paper pieced transport cushion
If you’re here from the Small Blog Meet at Lily’s Quilts – welcome! I’ve been doing this quilt blog thing for two months now, but have been involved in the blogging and quilt blogging community for a long time now. To get a better idea of who I am and my sewing, you might want to check out why I quilt or my sewing space.
Thanks for stopping by!
