I’m hosting TGIFF this Friday and have set the goal of getting this quilt done for it. I’ve basted my son’s transport I-spy quilt… but what thread to quilt it in?! I really wish I had some light grey on hand, that would be best, and technically I own a set of neutral Aurifil, except it’s sitting back in Australia with a few yards of Kona solids while I bemoan the exorbitant Australia Post rates that prevent my mother-in-law sending them on to me! I do have some rainbow Aurifil, but not enough bobbins! Eiyiyi…
I’ve also started on my next project which I’ll be sharing with you within a couple of weeks! It means I get to play with these pretties…
Have you entered the Intrepid Thread giveaway yet?

Ooh tough one! A grey would be ideal but I think you could get away with an off white or even white – depending on what sort of quilting you’re going to do! It’s looking great!

Grey would work beautifully! Then again you can’t go wrong with white. Can’t wait to see what you do with these pretty fabrics!

How about blue thread? Perhaps:) It is really cute!

Don’t know about thread colour (I’ve only ever quilted in white/neutral) but I love the green/blue/red fabrics. Are you making something Christmassy? I’d really love to make a Christmas quilt with those sort of fabrics at some point. If you could let me know what they are, that would be awesome 🙂

I bought a layer cake of that Kate Spain fabric last year and then scrapped the project I was going to use them on. However, just the other day, I decided on another project I could use it in, so I just dusted it off and added it to my WiP list. It will be fun to see what you are making out of it!

Yes, that is a hard one because of that white background fabric – I’ll be curious to see what you decide.

Sorry I forgot to send a reminder but you’re obviously on top of it!!! I just supervised the finish of a quilt that used some of that red and white truck/helicopter fabric – it’s fabulous!
