Yesterday I changed my rotary blade. It was beautiful. So smooth and easy, like slicing through butter with a hot knife. I was just gliding my way through my trimming.
I was in love because this is what my last blade looked like…
Oh yes it did.
I know, first I let Ellie languish in lint, and then my poor rotary cutter. Dear Ollie, I promise to never let you get so bad again!

Haha, I have the same confession. I did just buy a blade the other day, but I have never changed this blade since I’ve had the cutter (um…over a year maybe?). It still works fine!

Going to re-stock on blades at the upcoming quilt fair here in November at the Scissorman stall. Always a good deal there! Nothing compares to the feel of a new blade through multiple layers of fabric! Makes you wonder why you haven’t done it before!

I just bought blades yesterday! I lucked out as I went to a quilt festival, and the vendor was selling them there at nearly half-price! I’m excited to change out my blade! 🙂

I just put a new one in yesterday and it’s just the most amazing thing! Can’t believe you waited a year though – it would drive me nuts!!!
