This was the first time that I really focused on how I quilted the top. I had won a set of rainbow Aurifil threads and thankfully they mostly all matched.
But it was so worth it! And what do you do when you head to Tokyo and the Imperial Palace? Take it with you to get some more photos…
All those massive stone walls? Hand cut. Hand transported. Hand built. Hundreds of years ago. Kinda puts my little grey quilting and whinging to shame…
