After a crazy few days finishing up a pattern and the cover quilt, it’s been a quieter week to let my sewjo recover and restore to usual levels. I finished block 4 of the FQS Designer BOM, and the next one should be arriving next week.
I’ve started cutting for October’s HST BOM.
What should I be doing? Working on finishing up my HST BOF series (next instalment next Tuesday!), projects for blog hops – Travellin Pic Stitch and my own next month (stay tuned for that one!), working on baby quilts and my Good Fortune quilt, October’s Wombat Stew block… Meh. I need a little break, and BOMs are just the sort of thing for a sewing respite – you don’t have to think, you just obey instructions!

Lists of sewing tasks are written to be ignored… aren’t they?!? Good on you for just doing a fun project instead, your block is beautiful.

Sometimes it’s nice to have a little break – don’t want sewing feeling like a chore after all 😉
Loving your block – it’s going to be such a gorgeous quilt when you’re done!
