I am making all 25 of the Sew Seasonal patterns. So far, I’ve made 4… I’m way behind schedule to get this done for revealing for the Sew Seasonal linky at the end of November and I blame the kids for making me too tired and frazzled to sew during naptime lately! That and it’s so cold at night now in my sewing space…
I’ve printed all of Kristy’s paper pieced blocks and am keeping them and the finished blocks in this plastic file – organised plus it keeps my blocks nice and flat and auto-pressed in the meantime! Win!
I’ve made 4 of the easier ones so far, and loving using up some Christmassy scraps. I’ve been very very naughty and scrimped on fabric, meaning they’re not all perfect as I’ve had to add bits here and there to make up the backgrounds. But half of it won’t be seen due to how I’m going to be finishing them all up, plus I like the scrappy kinda look to fit in with using up my scraps for these blocks!
I have also cut all Ornamental blocks out, now to just cut the background and start sewing (and yes, I reuse any plastic snaplock bags I get with fabric orders). It won’t take long to whip up, just gotta you know, do it! This will be the second time I’ve made them all, not to mention the Vintage Modern table runner, and this time I’m using Joy by Kate Spain. Hehe, between this project, the Ornamental pattern cover wall hanging, and my HST BOF project, it’s going to be a Very Merry Kate Spain Christmas around here! Just the way I like it!

Well seeing your progress helps with mine! My ornament blocks have been sitting since Sunday, desperately begging to be sashed. Guess I’d better get on with it!
Loving the fabrics you’ve used!!

You’re four ahead of me! I have made one of Kristy’s blocks and sewn it into a Christmas ornament (I thought I’d start off small!).
