I had promised a little giveaway, so that you could literally share in my quilt show experience, so I have these little cuts for one of you!
Just leave a comment, telling me which of the quilts I photographed was your favourite! And if you link up with your own Sunday Stash post, leave another comment letting me know you did as a bonus entry! Sunday Stash linkies are always open the whole week, so the giveaway will close 23:59pm Saturday 24th November. Winner will be chosen by random and announced next Sunday!
Sidenote – it’s my son’s 3rd birthday today, as well as his party, so I’ll be commenting on your posts throughout the week once I recover!

There were so many wonderful quilts the 3 huge ones when you entered were awe inspiring but I really liked Yasuko Hamaguchi Hearts Sing and Kumiko Koyama.
Rachel Booth says
I agree! Too many gorgeous quilts! Makes me miss Japan! ๐ I think my favorite (today) is Kumiko Hosomi but each time I look, I change my mind! Happy Birthday to your son!!:)

There were a ton of lovely ones, but seriously. The ones at the front entryway were killer amazing, if only for their extreme size!
I love the fabrics you picked up! You’re right, those totally look like men’s socks, but I love them! And the text prints are awesome too! ๐

Yes I had about 3 faves but if I had to choose one to put in my house the ‘Low Volume’ HST one by Hiromi Tsunetsugu would get pride of place on a wall.
I loved your piece on the Welsh quilts too.

Yoko Murakami by SewBlossomHeart, on Flickr — that was just gorgeous. I just love that traditional design.
Patchwork and Play says
Happy Birthday to Mr.3! I loved Yasuyo Watanabe’s triangulr solid quilt!
Janarama says
All of the quilts were fantastic. I had to pick two as my favorites:
Kazuko Ikeda by SewBlossomHeart
and
Mitsue Ochiai by SewBlossomHeart
Happy Birthday to your son!

My favourite was Kaleidoscope by Paula Nadelstern. Happy birthday to your son! Master 2 will be turning 3 in March ๐
Deborah says
My favourite was Kazuko Ikeda phone – the avenue lined with autumn (yellow) trees. I live in a tropical country so no autumn leaves here!
Molli Sparkles says
Like Deborah, my fave was the “Kazuko Ikeda phone” because it reminds me of Philadelphia in the fall time. On our campus we had so many gingko biloba trees and they’d drop fields of yellow on the ground in the same way. Love your low volume prints, great finds! I must investigate the Japanese fabrics myself, I am so ignorant there!
Molli Sparkles says
Oh you know, Molli linked up her stash. It was bound to happen.
Gill says
The quilts were all fabulous! My favourite was ‘Kumiko Hosomi’
Jane says
I really love Emiko Kobayashi Life, it’s traditional yet fresh all in one.
Jeneta says
Gee, it’s hard to pick a favourite amongst all of that quilting excellence. I’m going with Mitsue Ochiai (so serene!), though Natsumi Ohara is pretty amazing! Hey – we have a 3 year old birthday here next weekend (he has already commissioned a train cake!)!

I added the Kumiko Hosomi quilt to my favorites on flickr. Awesome. Lovely fabrics you have. Unfortunately I have nothing to share at the moment.

I love the purple one with the cherry blossoms, Kumiko Koyama I think is the name on it. Thanks for sharing! They all are gorgeous!

Eek! I completely forgot to link up! I might have to link up this arvo when I get home! Last time I read your blog post on the quilt festival, my favourite was Kumiko’s cherry blossom quilt, but this time it is Chikako Tamane’s – funny how it’s changed, must be my mood! I love the neutrals you got – I need to boost mine up too, I think I only have 3 B&W fabrics!
blondie19012k says
There were so many beautiful and impressive ones, but I think my favourite was Kumiko Koyama ๐

I luv the fabrics you have picked up too.
