In all honesty, who knows when I will get around to sashing and finishing the top, let alone the back, especially as I’ve run out of this particular white homespun. Any advice welcome on that point! Now to get crackin’ on the Fat Quarter Shop’s Designer BOM… I just got Block 7 and have yet to finish Block 5. Oops.

I really like that quilt. It looks like something that I would make. Love the colours.

Oh your blocks all look so fantastic together! The fabrics and colours go together beautifully! Wonder if you could maybe pick out one colour to use as the sashing rather than white?

So lovely! I really like this fabric collection too, it’s so fun and bright! My Craftsy BOM blocks are also in Summersault, but with a cerise background. The white you used makes the colors really pop and adds a nice crispness to them. 🙂

They look great. Happy Christmas! As a fellow aussie living overseas in Asia I have enjoyed finding your blog this year – it has inspired me to keep working at my quilting and to keep trying new things. Enjoy the holidays!

Your aunt is right– my mom always says that every quilt needs an “ugly” or two, because they make the other prints shine!
As for the sashing, have you considered another color? I think a pale green or a pale turquoise might look awesome with these!

Lovely. I would use a really dark dashing to add a punch. Maybe a navy blue or hunter green. I think it would pop all the light colours even more.
