Japanese Bundle Club

I love having my little Etsy store selling sweet treats of Japanese fabrics, but I do know that they aren’t the cheapest fabrics around. So I’m super excited to announce the Japanese Bundle Club for 2013! Each month there will be a bundle of 6 fabrics available in either a fat eighth bundle or a fat quarter bundle, featuring 6 different Japanese fabrics according to the month’s theme. All fabrics will be either be 100% quilting weight cotton or an 85% cotton/15% linen blend like Kokka fabrics. And how much?

Fat eighth bundle – ¥2000 including postage = approximately $25 Australian/US; £15 or €18. 

Fat quarter bundle – ¥3000 including postage = approximately $35 Australian/US; £22 or €28.

Which is up to 30% off some fabrics, and includes postage!

Brief descriptions

January’s text – Maybe something like this one from Kumiko Fujita.

February’s sewing-related – Perhaps buttons or patterns, time will tell.

March’s kawaii – Adorable little deer or farmyard creatures are just a taste of kawaii.

April’s sakura – For cherry blossom month, expect some pretty traditional Japanese floral.

May’s sweet spring – As Japan’s flowers continue to bloom, so will some sweet modern florals here.

June’s children – A mix of boys’ and girls’ and something for all!

July’s tanabata – Tanabata is one of many festivals held over summer, so you’ll find some fun Japanese motifs in this bundle

August’s cool – As summer steams up, we’ll cool down with some cool-toned prints.

September’s autumn leaves – This will make sure you get some warm-toned prints in your stash ready for Fall and Halloween and Thanksgiving!

October’s novelty  – We’re not talking cat fabric here, more like pretty washi tape fabric, or Kokka prints.

November’s Christmas – Again, making sure you get some Christmas fabric in time to do your sewing!

December’s traditional – Indigos and reds, we end the year with some truly traditional Japanese fabrics.

FAQs

How do I order? This is a month-by-month deal, where you can pick and choose which month’s bundle you want. You will have until the end of the preceeding month to order your bundle through my Etsy store. So to order January’s bundle, you will need to order it by December 31st.

When will my bundle ship each month? It will be posted by the second Friday of each month.

Can I order previous months’ bundles? If there are any spare bundles, they will be listed in the store, but it is not guaranteed there will be any leftover.

Can I combine postage with other items from your store? Yes! You can indeed. Anything ordered at the same time as your bundle will be posted with your bundle. If you want or need the fabric sooner, please buy it as a separate transaction.

Can I order larger increments of fabric? Unfortunately not at the moment. I have a limited supply and there is a limit on the number of bundles available.
