It’s been the fortnight of quilt tops around here. I have 3 quilt tops ready to sandwich and quilt for my sister. I’ve been putting them off until 600 curved basting pins arrived, but there’s been postal issues and one month later, they still haven’t arrived. So Plan B is to use the safety pins I have, and do them one at a time. One of which is my Quick Piece Herringbone quilt top using 6 of the blocks from my tutorial yesterday. It’s only a littley for my sister to use in the pram/stroller. Not that an Aussie baby needs one in February, the hottest month of the year, but it’ll only get cooler from there! I used a few strips from a jelly roll of Little Apples, and I’ll use the leftover cut strips for a scrappy binding. I’ve just about finished quilting it!
Then there’s the Top Secret cot quilt that needs to be sandwiched up… I’m procrastinating this one because I have no idea how to quilt it! This one has the largest amount of “space” yet for me, with 8″ squares of single prints in red and teal.
And last, but most certainly not least is my new quilt pattern, entitled Tea For Two. This will get sandwiched and quilted next as I know exactly how I’m quilting this pretty thing!

PS: how do you get the little “if you liked this, pop over…” bit to be on the bottom of your posts when read in Reader?

Pinning is most probably my least favourite of the whole quilting process! That Little Apples quilt is adorable.

I think basting it the worse part but I send all my big ones to a long arm-which is why I don’t make that many ๐ I love your blocks that you are working on here. They look great.
