I’m super excited to annouce the Having A Starry Time blog hop! If you’ve hung around here long enough, you will know that I love using half-square triangles; my HST tutorials and formulas post is the most Pinned post from my blog! So I’m taking it the next step and have teamed up with 5 fabulous bloggers to design a star quilt block from half-square triangles and giving the Fat Quarter Shop’s Triangle Papers a whirl!
The Triangle Papers are available in a range of finished sizes from 1″ to 6″ and come on a roll, allowing you to cut off as much or as little as you need and still keep the rest intact. You can check out the Fat Quarter Shop’s Youtube video showing how to use them for more information.
And so who are these fabulous bloggers?
Monday March 18th – Rita at Red Pepper Quilts
Tuesday March 19th – Lindsey at Happier Than A Bird Quilts
Wednesday March 20th – Jane at Want It, Need It, Quilt
Thursday March 21st – Jenelle at Echinops & Aster
Friday March 22nd – Hadley at Flying Blind on A Rocket Cycle
Saturday March 23rd – Alyce at Blossom Heart Quilts
Each blogger will share a tutorial for the star block, as well as a giveaway for size of Triangle Papers they used! I’ve seen some sneak peeks, and they’re living up to their fabulous reputation, let me tell you. So stick around, and I hope you have a starry time!

I love triangles on a roll! I have them in three or four sizes and they work wonderfully if you have to make lots of the same size triangles. Can’t wait to see the hop blocks!
