While I was away, I both received a chunk of mail and brought home a chunk of stash. But I especially want to share this particular delivery. I had signed up for the Sweet Pouch Swap, but due to my sudden trip, I had to pull out of sending mine. I already felt guilty (and will still send something anyway!) and then when I saw what was sent to me, I felt even more guilty!
Oh. My. Sweet. Goodness. A large pouch made from the most gorgeous patchwork filled with Kate Spain goodies, chocolate and Mexican sweets. Dee-lish! The beautiful Ruthie from Thread Of Hearts stalked me so well that she found out I hated not being able to get Kate Spain’s licensed goods so she sent me a notebook, a pen, some sticky notes, noteards, pegs and chipboard flowers. So spoilt!
The pouch is now filled with my crochet project, and this beautiful pen and notebook are sitting by my machine to keep track of WIPs and making notes for tutorials and patterns as I’m sewing. The Hershey’s didn’t last long and one of the Mexican caramel wafers disappeared during my stash unpacking and organising. So yum! Thank you once again Ruthie, I seriously feel so spoilt!
Linking up with Sunday Stash!

Wow what a gorgeous bundle of gifts! Don’t feel guilty – I sent a gift on your behalf (and explained your situation to Liz) and she was very understanding! I made her a quilted patchwork pouch made with Amy Butler Lotus fabrics. And sent her a bunch of Cherry Ripes and Caramello koalas! 🙂

What the other girls said. Don’t feel guilty at all. You had to take care of yourself and your family and do what what best for all our you.
And you deserved to be spoilt! That pouch is just gorgeous and I am so jealous of the Kate Spain goodies!
xx
