I’m technically not here today, I’m out fabric shopping with a friend in Tokyo! I’m sure I’m having a marvellous time… I’m shopping for some more shop stock and this month’s Japanese Bundle Club too, so you’d better be quick if you want one!
Talking of fabric shopping, do you remember I put a call out asking for US mail assistance a little while ago? My husband is travelling to the US for work in a couple of weeks and I’m making use of “US Shipping Rates” while he is there! So while my PayPal account is looking scarily low right now, his suitcase is going to be nice and full…
I’ve ordered my backing and binding from Sew Lux Fabric for my Easy As ABC quilt – and it just happened to coincide with their End Of Summer Clearance Sale! Hallelujah – 10% off everything storewide and up to 20% off Clearance items. That means yardage is now $8.55, layer cakes are $27 and I picked up a half yard of clearance fabric for $2. TWO DOLLARS! So I also threw in a couple of precuts and notions… Sale is on until September 1st if you’re interested!
I picked up two Giggles precuts and a Windsor Lane Pink layer cake from Southern Fabric for a nursery set in the works – I was so happy to find both in the one shop! The request for bunnies brought Windsor Lane straight to mind, and even though it’s been out almost a year, I still found some!
And finally, for this post and also in the “at last!!!!” sense, Electric Quilt 7 from Quilt In A Day. They perpetually have a $40 “internet rebate” bringing the price down to $143, and add another $10 for US Shipping and I am one happy quilt designer!
Ohhhh bring on September 21st and the arrival my mail… male. Ahem.
