After I made the last bento bag, my mother-in-law just loved the design and wanted one for herself. I told her she could have one when she visited. And visited she did a couple of weeks ago!
She selected a bright selection of fabrics from a fabric store, and I contributed the purple Moda Essential Dots for the rim. I also got to pop in my brand new label! Very excited with that addition. And using Ayumi’s pattern is like second nature now.
The silly ending to the story is that she forgot to pack it and I forgot it too! But it did give me the chance to buy some craft cord to thread through it and take a proper photo shoot now the weather’s cleared a bit. And now it will be winging it’s way back to Australia.
