I have been very blessed in the past couple of weeks with two new sponsors jumping on board! It’s always fabulous to have a little extra fabric play money, amiright?! And today, I’m very excited to announce that Southern Fabric is the latest sponsor! Based in Georgia, Aubrey and the girls have been selling since 2004 specialising in Moda, Freespirit, Riley Blake, and Westminster fabrics. I recently bought the Giggles and Windsor Lane precuts from them, and they were very amenable to changing shipping addresses so my husband could pick it up in America.
I’ve always admired Aubrey’s store – I love how she creates fabric collages for each of her ranges on offer, turning Simply Style by V & Co from something like above to this:
You can easily see the whole range in one go and compare prints and colours and such! It really gives you a clear sense of the whole range of fabric and the colour stories within. Like High Street by Lily Ashbury, available in precuts:
Or yardage off these delicious bolts:
The collage grid makes me want to buy a charm pack just to make a patchwork quilt like the image! Plus it’s fabulous for Pinning to your fabric board so you can remember the whole collection easily.
Also new in store is Honey Sweet by Figtree. This line really is sweet with the aquas and oranges and greens, and has that modern vintage feel to it with the fresh colours and range of prints.
Brown is one section of my stash that is really lacking in depth and variety, but Honey Sweet browns are now on my list for cart filler-upper-ers to help pad out the envelope with some stash builders.
Talking of shopping, now is definitely the time to stock up at Southern Fabric! It’s time for their big end of summer clearance to make way for fall’s fabric lines. You can save up to 50% off items, while stocks last. Sale ends Oct. 6th so be quick! There’s some Serenade, Karavan and Bijoux for 50% off; Heather Bailey and Amy Butler for 40% off; and much much more. I’m mighty tempted to add to my Cameo Spring’s Beauty pile – such a sucker for those blossom trees!

I love it when fabric retailers layout a collection as Southern Fabric is now doing. That is one of the reasons I also tend to purchase from the Missouri Star Quilt Co. It is so helpful to see the entire collection as one. I’ll be sure to check out Southern Fabric and add them to my “favorites.” Thanks pointing them out.
