A few online quilting buddies and I were having a little moan about lack of sewjo and/or general motivation, when I was ironically hit with 2 important deadlines for the end of the month. That certainly provides a kick in the now-thread-covered pants to get back onto the machine! Not to mention getting this month’s Japanese Colour Club bundles out. There’s still some leftovers from January and February in the shop if you want a dose of red or orange! The yellows will be up in the store soon.
I’ve been playing with this Riley Blake Rolie Polie in such beautiful spring-ey colours! The weather is beautifully sunny and finally spring has arrived here. Nothing better to celebrate it with!
I also have to go shopping for another friend’s Japanese preschool bags because sewing and fabric talk goes right over her head! Oh yes, that’s a hard one to get motivated to do… ahem. I’ve also just finished a set of daycare futon (mattress) covers for another fellow foreigner mum.
Which means my poor bee blocks are languishing on the edge of the table, needing just the final seams which of course always somehow take the longest to do! Oops.

Pretty fabrics! My poor bee blocks are doing the very same as I’m preparing for a craft fair!

ha ha yes, I always stumble at the last 2% of a job to be finished … Lovely shots of fabric there in your post, looking at those pretties motivates me, so thank you!

I’m feeling the lack of mojo, too, but I think the moving is to blame. It’s coming back slowly but surely! Can’t wait to see next months bundle!
