It’s been a busy week of life and sewing for me! I’ve particularly had a lot of fun making a start on my Bright Sky quilt this week, now that I finally chose my background fabric! The Bright Sky pattern sale ends tomorrow, so don’t miss out on it!
It’s a cotton print with a lot of bias stretch, so I’m taking it slow and carefully and pinning a lot!
Rachel has finished a Simply Helixed runner for her friend! She even used Simply Color too!
Hands up if you’ve vacuumed solely for the purpose of laying out a quilt top? Yep, me too. Lisa did so she could add borders to this beautiful quilt top!
AJ made this beautiful knitting needle roll for her OBGYN after the recent birth of her bubba – congratulations AJ!! Sewing with babies certainly isn’t easy, and it only gets harder as they get bigger ๐
This week is the first Tuesday of the month! Which means it’s time for a bonus post linky and theme. Each first Tuesday of the month, we have a theme that you can link up one extra post (so, two posts in total) to do with that theme. This month, we’re talking warm colours. No matter where you are, north or south, either the warm colours of red, orange and yellow are coming out on the trees or the weather is starting to “warm” up! So link up on extra post sharing a warm-coloured project, along with your normal weekly Sew Cute post.

Your Big Sky looks awesome. Blue skies and gray skies, just like Oregon sometimes from minute to minute!

Thanks for picking my entry to feature! (Sorry this is so late, I was completely done in by food poisoning last week. Boy did that suck! =D )
