It’s that time of the year – what started in America and has now spread around the world… Black Friday sales, that now also tend to start earlier in the week, and now continue through til at least ‘Cyber Monday’. Yeah, sorry, a little cynical about all this, but hey, if it’s any consolation, one day I would really, really love to be in the USA for Thanksgiving and crash someone’s Thanksgiving dinner! Love me some turkey and cranberry sauce!! Nonetheless, I must of course share some of the great deals around the web because not everyone else is cynical like me and that’s ok!
The Fat Quarter Shop has 25% off their whole entire store! No coupon code needed, just pile your cart high and it’ll do it automatically for you.
Shabby Fabrics has a huge range of various sales on offer:
Patchwork Threads has a sale! I love my Bright Sky shirt, even though it’s too cold to wear it without layers on top now, and have my eye on one of their hoodies…
Southern Fabric has 25% or more off everything in store – discount will be applied at checkout.
Craftsy has all classes on sale! I’ve recently bought Elizabeth Dackson’s newest class about paper piecing, and even though I am not a beginner, I still picked up some great new tips!

I’m with you!! I’m not fond of it either. Money grabbing schemes….all the hype getting people upset and angry yet another weekend in the year….are we not supposed to be home with loved ones on these marvelous weekends?? Read this on a Facebook post—Black Friday : because only in America people trample each other for sales exactly one day after being thankful for what they already have….it made me chuckle.
Stay safe and have a great weekend!

If you ever find yourself in mid-America around Thanksgiving time you are welcome to join our family for Thanksgiving dinner, Alyce. Our Thanksgiving dinner is usually the Saturday after Thanksgiving, so I spend my Black Fridays baking pies and chopping veggies. I might have to wander over to Southern Fabric’s website today, though…
