Way back when I first started mummy blogging, over 5 years ago now, I never foresaw myself ending up on the path I am now. Loving Blogging (capital B to indicate the whole thing, not just writing), loving writing, and loving writing about quilting! But here I am. Blogging regularly, writing for a magazine, and now…
I have been a long-time fan of Craftsy’s classes, and their passion for teaching to audiences of all styles and ages. Living in Japan, I can’t get to any local quilting classes, so Craftsy came along at the perfect time for me – I have been able to take classes from favourite quilters and designers, in my own language! As someone who likes to observe before practicing, it was because of Craftsy classes that I felt brave enough to tackle free-motion quilting for the first time.
So it is with great pleasure that I can now share that I am writing for the Craftsy blog as one of their quilting writers! My first two posts have gone up this month – 5 Christmas Paper Piecing Patterns for Beginners and Celebrate Poinsettia Day With Five Poinsettia Quilt Patterns. For future reference, you can find all my posts from my author’s page.
