We’re now halfway through The Bee Hive! And we’re starting to see some finished quilts and quilt tops come through, which is pretty exciting!
Violet has made this stunning Wanta Fanta quilt top
Christy made a Christmas-themed Tic Tac Toe quilt with her swarm.
@greatbritten66 has finished her Wanta Fanta quilt and is currently quilting it.
Ann added some dashing (aka dashed sashing) between her Star Plus blocks, as well as setting them on point. What an amazing quilt!
@simplesewing use the Wanta Fanta block for her Anna Marie Horner mini quilt swap on Instagram. I like how she used the same fabric for the snowball corners and mixed up the fabric placement for the paper pieced blocks!
@sunset.sewing has made a calming Tic Tac Toe quilt top of solids and low volumes.
@kellyfairy used the Houndstooth block to make a mini for the Allison Glass mini quilt swap on Instagram.
You can see hundreds more blocks and quilt top progress pictures on Instagram on the #thebeehivequilts feed!

These are all looking great. I love all the different interpretations, colour choices and setting options! I can’t wait for my month (I’m December, so still a while to go – hopefully everyone doesn’t run out of steam by then)

Oh thank you for including my mini again. I love those Wanta Fanta quilts, may have to add that to my ‘to make’ list. I have really been enjoying the Bee, it is really making me try new techniques and stretch my skills. Today I have to make a mineral block.

Goergeous to see them coming together and proud finding three of my blocks! Keep going ladies 🙂

These are lovely! I continue to be amazed at how much your fabric choice changes the look of a pattern. It gives a quilter a world of possibilities.
