This year has started off with a bang, with a few exciting bits of news to share with you guys.
Last month, I was interviewed by Stephanie for the Modern Sewciety podcast! Well actually, it was recorded in November, but it was published last month. You can listen on iTunes, Android, or online.
This month, you can also find my Nature’s Gifts cushion cover pattern in Down Under Quilts issue 174. That’s it there on the cover! This issue is all about Australian-inspired projects, and Nature’s Gifts (which is a lyric from our national anthem) uses a mixture of solids to reflect the beautiful colours of my home country.
From the deep blues of the ocean, to the green rainforests and stony mountains, to the sandy desert and ochre outback. I used a mix of Kona and Oakshott, which makes for some interesting texture in person! Aussies can buy it in the normal magazine places, or anyone can order it online.
I have also finished up as a Craftsy blogger, with the last two posts having been published. It’s been a great experience, but with the big changes coming up for my family, I needed to reduce my workload a bit. You can find all the posts I’ve written on my author’s page.
And of course you’ve already seen my Jelly Baby quilt that was in January’s Make Modern #9.
It’s been a fun month! What a great way to start the year!
