Woahhh, how is it the end of May already?! Being the last Friday in May, that means it’s time to share some of the incredible magic you guys are making using various Blossom Heart Quilts patterns and tutorials. This month, we’re back to checking out the hashtags on Instagram, so let’s start with #thebeehivequilts and the quilts coming together from blocks from The Bee Hive.
clockwise top left:I absolutely adore how @katelkeith has chosen her fabric placement for the Wanta Fanta blocks with that pop of yellow. @chelengeorge’s beautiful quilt of Quatrefoil is coming together so beautifully! And the flying geese border on @therealdianagrimmer’s Double Star quilt is a fantastic way to finish the quilt off. Meanwhile @modernstitchinmama chose the Autumn Chain block, and it’s looking so glowingly good!
The final installment of the Aurora BOM is going out next week, so get in quick if you’re wanting the pattern for yourself! There are going to be some pretty special quilts to be admired soon, especially with blocks like these.

And I continue to be fascinated by the different ways people are making their Modern HST Sampler blocks.
clockwise top left: @salmonandsouvlaki is remaking her’s using flannel! What a cosy idea. @bernadettehowson has done a super catch up this month, and they’re looking great! I love how @antercraft has fussy cut the squares in Diagonal, and how @joeygirl_ has reversed the print and background in Faceted Stripe.

Wanta Fanta has definitely been one of the most popular blocks, that’s for sure!

It is hard for me to wrap my head around the Double Star quilt border is composed of flying geese. Would you help me to clearly see the geese blocks? Thanks.
