Well now, hasn’t Instagram calmed down just a little, with the end of the #100days100blocks, haha! After my last update on my Tula Blue quilt, life got busy, and I had to prioritise a few things. It meant I fell behind a little, but I’ve still made progress, having made another 35 blocks or so, and working with my husband to design my own sashing fabric. Ooh yes I did! I’m now playing the waiting game for my Spoonflower order, and in the meantime, I can finish off the last few blocks so that I’m ready to go when it arrives.
Before I finish cutting the final blocks’ fabrics though, I do need to lay them all out again to use the final 15 blocks to make sure I’ve got the range of colours and shades needed. I’ll need to block out a few hours to play with that… we all know how long it can take to play with fabric 😉

I am so used to seeing your blocks photographed on a Japanese newspaper article about HIV that I almost expect your Spoonflower order to be like Japanese newsprint. 🙂

Bahahaha! I chose such a classy piece of newspaper, didn’t I?!

your blocks look great having done these a couple of years ago from scraps thinking it is time I made another quilt maybe green and orange with a splash of yellow and purple

And conversely, I’m thinking that this would be a great scrap buster project to use up scraps that I never use, haha!
