Hurray, we’re back into it for 2017 and sharing your makes from Blossom Heart Quilts patterns and tutorials! I know I waffle on about it, but it really is so thrilling to see the way that you guys take my designs and rock them like no other. You make them your own and you make them in all the various colours and fabrics and themes that I wish I had thought of, ha!
Such as all the different Sirius blocks. Some are going for rainbow, some are staying within a fabric line or designer, some are going scrappy. And they’re all fantastic!
From top, L-R: @sewsweetness, @zephyrskies, @carripage, @homesewnheroes, @thepatchsmith, @littlemisskasha
Special mention to @ava_and_neve for cleverly using the templates to English paper piece the Milky Way Sampler instead!
And then there’s those who have dived straight into the Celestial block (only available in the Bundle version) and wowed us all with their rainbow fabulousness! This one by @jackiegillies was for her star blocks quilting bee.
And @picosailors has hit a homerun with her use of Blueberry Park fabrics. Can’t go wrong with Karen Lewis!
Quilts are being finished from last year’s quilting bees, as this year’s are starting up! Like @janithom getting ready to finish her Quatrefoil quilt top.
And @myprettywildlife has her quilted Wanta Fanta quilt all ready to bind. That border is just perfection!
I also love the heads popping up the top of @nwquiltedcat’s Fizzy quilt as they provide a scale for just how big this quilt is.
But not all quilts from #thebeehivequilts are from quilting bees, there are still many people who make a quilt themselves, like @chelengeorge finishing this beautiful baby quilt using the Checker block.
And @a_swede_life also used the Checker block, upsizing it and using an alphabet panel fabric for the rectangles. How amazing does it look?!
Checking out the general #blossomheartquilts feed is always fun, because sometimes you spy awesome finished like the underwater Fairy Tale Castle by @midwesternbrite. That fussy cut gate! Oh my heart!
Wow, what an inspirational month it’s been! Keep sharing and tagging me (I’m @blossomheartquilts) on Instagram and in our Facebook group as you make your gorgeous projects; it makes my day to see your work!

Thank you for sharing. I’m enjoying the QAL/Milky Way and seeing everyone’s different “eye” for colors & fabrics. Luv all the completed projects.
