It’s no secret I love a good sampler quilt – something new and different for each block you sew! And with my AccuQuilt Qubes, it makes it even easier to sew up different sampler quilts in 2 different sizes – I made my Patisserie BOM quilt from 8″ blocks AND 6″ blocks, and set them both very differently for the final quilt layout.
You’ve already seen this version (the 8″ blocks) before, with it’s tasty photo shoot…
But now I’m sharing the 6″ block version, plus the finishing instructions for both, over on the AccuQuilt Australia blog here.
What’s your favourite way to finish sampler quilts? It feels like there’s just an endless number of ways to do so! I’ve got a Pinterest board full of sampler quilts for that exact reason.

Thanks for this Alyce. I’m making one right now that has me a little stumped, but I bet something from your pinterest collection will stand out to me. I really like the setting on the smaller blocks here. Those colorful corners seem to draw all the blocks into a community.

Yes, it’s particularly useful for scrappy quilts!
