Hands up who else is feeling the rapid increase of time lately?! And no, I’m not talking about the new season of Doctor Who starting (although, how awesome was that first episode?! I’m excited about where this season is heading!). Which is why I’m secretly a little chuffed that I’ve already sewn up this month’s blocks for the Aurora BOM. In fact, I got them done in the first week of October during school holidays!
First up is the green guy, and some careful fabric orientation to make the bear print all face the same way. Because I’m a bit of a perfectionist, and if I can make order happen, dang it, I’ll make order happen, haha!
Then there’s the blue baby, and some whirling strips happening around this pinwheel-esque design.
And finally, the purple peep, with some little foxes peeking out around the place, in between the swirling birdies.
If you’d like to subscribe to the Aurora BOM, you still can! I leave sign ups open for the duration of the BOM, as I know that seeing the quilts come to life can make you want to jump on board too.
