Thank you all so much for all your love and support and excitement about my book announcement! This month is super exciting in so many ways, and finally being able to share Mini Masterpieces with you all was just the start. Because up next is another desire that has come to fruition – hosting local sewing days to create a place for quilters to gather and sew together.
I don’t know about you, but I love sewing with friends. The whole experience of chatting and stitching away the day is so fun, fulfilling, and (usually) quite productive! Wanna know a secret? When you have a chunk of chain stitching or a ton of trimming to do, it’s a heckuva lot more fun when doing it while hanging out with others 😉
Every third Tuesday of the month, I’ll be hosting a sit and sew day from 10:30 – 2:30 at Nuno Nuno in Mont Albert, Melbourne. And we’re starting this month on August 20th!
These sit & sew days are open to hand and machine sewing, and we’ll just be hanging out and stitching the day away together. Trudy has created such a lovely space for classes with great lighting, ironing boards, a design wall, and not to mention getting to hang out in such a beautiful store!

To book your place, call Trudy on 9898 7104. Cost is $5, with tea on tap (and fantastic cafes nearby for great coffee) and I’ll be grabbing something sweet from the bakery next door to pop on the table! Yum!
