When I first designed the Stellar quilt for AccuQuilt, I just knew that the background needed to be scrappy so as to give that night sky feel with darker and lighter patches of sky. I used a variety of solid blues with one marbled blue print to give some extra dimension and texture in each of the quilt blocks.
So when it came time to finish the quilt top, I needed to continue the same effect into the finishing touches by adding scrappy sashing and cornerstones. It’s so fun and scrappy! Two words I never thought I would once pair together, but look at me grow…

The next Qube QAL begins in January… and it’s little different from Patisserie and Stellar! I can’t wait to share it with you.
