Hi, my name is Alyce, and I’m addicted to Craftsy classes… It started with the free ones, and it’s grown since then…
It should come as no surprise to you that I love Craftsy. I have mentioned before that due to my living-in-another-country-that-doesn’t-speak-English status, quilting classes and groups are a little beyond me. Time-wise and language-wise! So for me, Craftsy IS my quilting class. I have already enrolled in .
This week saw the launch of Leah Day’s new free motion class – Free Motion Fillers Vol. 1 – where she teaches 50 different free motion filler designs. Fifty! Talking of fifty, it’s still 50% off! Odd story – tried to find the class through Craftsy, couldn’t. Clicked through from an email and it was 25% off. Clicked through from her blog and it was 50% off! So yes, I have shared the 50% off link*! If you’re worried about how it will differ from her YouTube videos, check out her post about it – it makes sense. Leah is a very good teacher – she speaks clearly and slowly, demonstrates very well, and if you just ignore the quilted kimono jacket, you’ll be right!
Linking up to Sunday Stash, visiting at Pretty Bobbins!

Ha! ๐ You make me smile Alyce. Craftsy does do a really great job. I’m also enrolled in Leah’s first class and finding it to be really helpful. I’ll have to check out the second.

Living in a non- English speaking country too, I totally get the class online thing! Craftsy does a great job but it’s been a while since I took a class – perhaps I’ll go take a look.

I like the Craftsy format too as I’m not much of a one to attend a face-to-face class. I love that you can do them whenever it suits you too. I have only just started working through the previous one Leah did for the BOM but I’m really enjoying it. I will sign up for the new one too but not until I’m just a wee bit more financially stable. We’ve had a bucket load of expenses just lately and I really can’t spend any more on quilting right now. Still I’m sure it will be around to buy for a long time!

Hahhahhah, ignore the jacket – I will have to keep that in mind! I got an email this afternoon offering the class at 25% off…..Ummmmm, already got it at 50% off thanks!!! I’m still yet to sit down and watch it….

I love Craftsy classes, but am so glad they don’t expire!
Is the Free Motion Filler class different than the videos she shares on her 365 project?
Izzy says
I’ve signed up for her Sampler class and I love it! Thank you so much for this info.
