Firstly, I must pass on more thanks from my sister and I for all the love and support for our family at this time. She wants to write you all a word of thanks soon, which I’ll pass on too.
Secondly, a much belated winner of the Name That Fabric! for February!! Many apologies for the delay due to the lack of internet access!
This beautiful print is indeed Honey Honey Sunset Florette by Kate Spain. And the lucky winner is Lara! She has chosen Honey Honey Coral Apiary as her favourite print from the range:
Congratulations Lara! What a beautiful match!
On a personal note, things are going well. I’m enjoying summer and the dose of warmth! In fact, I used to hate summer, but after the horrendous humidity of Japanese summer, the hot, dry heat of Australia is actually quite nice! Never thought I’d be saying that… We’re enjoying revisiting old haunts and our favourite playgrounds, and catching up with friends and family. We’re actually halfway throught the trip now, so we’re on the home stretch to returning home. On the 28th we fly to my in-laws’ in Cairns for a few days where I’ll be topping up my imperial crafting supplies and doing last bits and pieces of shopping – a new cutting mat and some smaller square rulers for a start! This is what happens when Japan crafts in metric… I will also have a computer with internet access once again so I shall see you then!

Dear Alyce: Enjoy the rest of your spin through Australia. I have to get there and to Japan some day.
Send all your bright warm thoughts for spring and summer our way (cold in Connecticut, Northeastern U.S.).
Best to you and your family!
