I’ve been back at the sewing machine this week, and it feels great! I’ve just got binding left on a table runner, which, being my least favourite part of a project, has been sitting around waiting for a few days. I also have a mug rug to make and a quilt block, so I will be at the machine again this week! Just in time for the summer holidays to start around here.
Katelyn has been working at the Octagonal Orb for the Schnitzel & Boo Mini Quilt Swap. I’ve had to make this block before, and it’s not a quick and easy block! But so worth it!
Georgi has finished a BOM quilt! I really do still love Happy Go Lucky and should pull out my hexie pack…
And how about this vintage sheet improv quilt from Mila + Cuatro?! Gorgeous!
Don’t forget to enter all the giveaways! They close at midnight tonight Japan time and I will announce the winners tomorrow:
– Fat Quarter Shop $50 gift certificate
– Southern Fabric $50 gift certificate
– Joy charm pack and Christmas patterns
And now it’s time to link up your latest sewing and stitching post! Be sure to link back here and visit some other linker-uppers, and if you share on Instagram, use #sewcutetuesday to help us find you!

Glad to be back again! I am designing this week, quite the opposite of what you are doing ๐

It’s funny to hear you say that binding is your least favorite part ~ it’s actually my favorite part! I’ll do your binding if you do my quilting (MY least favorite at the moment) ~ LOL! Thanks so much for featuring my BOM quilt ~ seeing the photo here took me totally by surprise!

I don’t mind binding. It’s the basting that I’m not so keen on.

You have a Happy Go Lucky hexie pack? You should totally get that out! When you have finished your other projects and commitments of course!

Thank you so much for the feature! I was a bit shocked when I came to the blog today to link the finished mini post. Then there was my mini. lol. I loved making this block, it turned out to be the perfect thing for what I was looking for. But I am not sure I would ever want to make a whole quilt of it. lol. Binding is not my least favorite…though the “least favorite” for me seems to change based on what I am doing at that moment. Haha. I am not much of a “journey” artist. I like seeing Finished products. I love making a quilt top and seeing that finished. But after that, the next part I love is usually when I am pulling it out of the dryer. ๐ Good luck with all of your projects this week. Isn’t is crazy how things keep getting added to the list? And YAY for being back at the sewing machine! It is the best place!
