When I released my Bright Sky quilt pattern earlier this year, several people mentioned how they would love to do a QAL of the pattern because it’s a quick, fun quilt to piece and produces a great lap size of 64″ square. Well, your wish is my command! I’m very happy to announce that the Bright Sky quilt along will be starting next month, with loads of prizes and a blog hop and guest posts to help inspire and motivate you. We’re even starting off with a giveaway, so keep reading through to the end!
The Bright Sky quilt is a giant one-block star quilt that is great for showing off big scale prints with its large pieces. You only need 10 fat quarters for the prints, so it’s a great quilt to play with that fat quarter bundle you’ve been hoarding!
And of course you’ll be needing the pattern! You can grab the pattern on Craftsy – normally $9.95, it’s on sale for just $6.95 until October 8th. You can also grab the fabric you need from Shabby Fabrics and use the 15% coupon code BrightSkyQAL – good for the duration of the whole QAL until November 21st (one order per customer)!
