Hands up who cannot believe it’s December already?! Where did 2015 go?! In a couple of months, I’ll be flying off to QuiltCon again, and shortly after that moving back to Australia… say what?! But first, CHRISTMAS TIME!! It’s my most favourite time of the year for sure. I’m definitely one of those “I just love everything!” kinda Christmas people – the lights, the “spirit”, the family and friends gatherings, the fun we have in our own little family, the memories, the traditions, choosing gifts for people, the food, and while we’ve been in Japan, the snow! It doesn’t tend to snow much here in Tokyo, but the past 3 years we’ve headed up to the snow around Christmas time, and I love it!
Each year, I’ve also started making at least some of the Christmas gifts, especially the little ones for friends and work parties. This year, I made a mug rug for my work’s Secret Santa – I’ll add a mug with some little goodies inside it too!
As it’s the first linky of the month, and also December, that means that this month’s bonus post theme is Christmas gifts! Whether it’s a tutorial you’ve written…
A free pattern to share…
Or just sharing some of the gifts you’ve made…
You can link them all up. Yep, it’s Christmas time, no need to get Grinchy and restrict your linking to just one bonus post!
Ok guys, time to link up one of your posts from this week! It could be a finished quilt, or your latest quilting bee blocks, or a cushion, or anything else quilty related. And did you know you can link directly to an Instagram pic too?! So if you want to link from there, you can do that too – link up as normal, and use #sewcutetuesday and @blossomheartquilts on IG to help us find you from there too. PLUS all your bonus Christmas gift ideas – no one-post-limit this time, because it’s CHRISTMAS!
