I shared a while ago about my partnering up with Pattern Jam to offer quilting top designs by me. Pattern Jam is an amazing website that offers quilt design software, and now also customisable quilt top designs that are then sent to you as a digitally-printed panel of fabric.
I have several quilt top designs on offer at Pattern Jam. Diamond Dash is a fun one that can be customised into colours you like, or go themed to create a holiday quilt!
And then Bunting is a classic one, stringing triangles across your quilt top. I have had the chance to choose a couple of my designs to customise and print (and quilt!), and Bunting was one – you can see it at the top of this post.
Tribal Throw is my latest one on offer. At 50″ square, this one makes a beautiful throw, and is a quilt design that you probably wouldn’t particularly feel like piecing yourself!
Cartwheeling is another that I wouldn’t want to piece myself. But I love the illusion of curves the triangles create, and the diamonds in the negative space!
It’s also one that I chose to customise and then quilt up, which I need to bind, and then I shall share it with you!
I’ll share more about what it’s like to work with these quilt tops when I share my Cartwheeling quilt, but lemme just say a couple of things now… for starters, the actual fabric itself is great quality! It’s soft, not slightly crunchy like digitally printed fabric can sometimes feel, and has a great hand to it. It is also nice and thick, so it’s been made well too. Spoiler alert – it was really beautiful to quilt, too!
Special Time
Pattern Jam and I excited for you to have a chance to customise and make your own quilt tops. Use the code BLOSSOMHEART to get 20% off any product at Pattern Jam until 15th September (USA)! The prices are so good to begin with anyway (considering how much it would cost to buy the various fabrics to piece it yourself, ahem…), so this is even better! And for those wondering, it cost about $21 to ship the two quilt tops to Australia, so international postage is pretty decent.
And if you do choose to get one of my designs, I’d love to see what you decide on! You can share it on Instagram and tag me – @blossomheartquilts and #blossomheartquilts – or even join our Facebook group to talk about it in there!
So, tell me, which one is your favourite?

I love the Cartwheel design. Great to know about the international postage too. When I looked at their website I thought it would be $33 for one quilt top so that put me off!

I like both Bunting and Cartwheel, and in both colorways. I’m going to look into this. Sometimes I’d like to play with quilting without piecing first
Alyce says
Right?! Sometimes you just want to have a beautiful quilt but without all that piecing.

This is such a crazy concept–in such a great way! Something to remember when I postpone sewing for Christmas again 😉 Love Bunting–especially in the colors you used.

That’s a great idea! A good, quick way to make beautiful handmade Christmas presents.
